Poll defaults

Default poll design

The shape of the poll card inside your emails. Your color theme still applies to every design, and you can switch design per poll when you create it.

Default question type

What the create form starts on — in the Gmail add-on and here in the dashboard. Set it to the type you reach for most.

Default timezone

Used for date & time poll slots and deadlines you create in the Gmail add-on. "Auto" uses your Gmail timezone; you can also override it per poll in the add-on.

Vote alerts

Vote alerts ping you the moment someone votes on one of your polls.

Email alerts

We email your account when a vote comes in. Alerts are batched so a busy poll never floods your inbox. This sets the default for new polls — you can still switch alerts on or off per poll as you create it.

Scheduling

For date & time polls — and any poll whose options are dates or times — turn the winning time into a Google Calendar event with invites ready to go.

Show "Schedule" buttons

Adds a Schedule button next to each time in your results, and offers to schedule the winner when you close a poll. One click opens Google Calendar prefilled with the time, a message, and your recipients as guests — you review it there, and Calendar asks before sending any invite.

Email me when a time is decided

One email per poll with the most popular time and a one-click schedule button — sent when everyone we know received it has voted, or when the deadline passes. Not sent when you close a poll yourself — you'll be offered the Schedule button right there instead.

Default meeting length

How long the calendar event is when you schedule. You can change it each time.
